USAGE GUIDELINESDuke Mascot Program Welcome to the Duke Mascot Program. As an approved Duke Mascot Program participant, this program designates you a custodian of Duke the mascot for the JavaTM technology development community. Duke Mascot Identity To guarantee that the Duke mascot will be widely recognized and used in the appropriate manner, we have established a set of guidelines that detail how the Duke mascot artwork should be applied. Duke artwork may only be used in the form provided by Sun Microsystems Inc. to indicate your affinity with the Java developer community or the Java Community Process. Please, No Modifications (thanks!) Please use the electronic artwork provided. Do not alter them in any way. Do not animate, rotate or otherwise distort any of the designs. And, only the versions of the Duke mascot shown here may be used. Duke's nose color must be PMS (PantoneTM) 201 C. Size Limitations To ensure legibility, do not make the Duke logo mascot any smaller than 4.5 picas or .75 inches tall in any two-dimensional applications or 85 pixels in height in any digital media (simplified version). Clear space Surrounding the Duke identity, there must be a clear zone void of all imagery and typography. Recommended clear zone width is a minimum of 1/2 the width of the identity.
